What I like most about all of TDE's solo releases is how they display each member's lyrical prowess with top notch production, minimal filler, and enough song variety that allow for full playthroughs without getting dull. And "Control System" is no exception, as it sounds more like a companion piece of Kendrick's critically acclaimed "#Section80," with all the biblical and conspiracy allusions.

Ab-Soul assaults each track with diverse flows matched up with cunning wordplay and themes that scale from anti-establishment and censorship, to relationship woes and addiction. Album also features all of his TDE homies, talented up-and comer Danny Brown, songstress Jhene Aiko, and the late Alori Joh (to which the "The Book of Soul" is dedicated to).

The album can be purchased on Itunes, and although we live in a day of age where albums can easily be downloaded, I always encourage people to support artist they truly enjoy.. For those who have seen BRK. from the beginning would agree that this t-shirt has been one of those things ive had a "it will be here, when its done" policy, but why?

When i created BRK. the goal was to make something polished and met my almost impossible expectations. The Aztec print has always been something that was beautiful to me, with that said the print had several hundred years to cohesively represent an entire culture...and well i had several months to interpret that to represent BRK. this t-shirt proved to be the most grueling of all the t-shirts. Each draft changed things that may be considered miniscule in many eyes, but were flaring imperfections in my mind. I mean serious doubt was put into this shirt I almost didn't release it several times. Many factors like legibility and color concerns had me up 3am the night before i put in the order. Hues of black, teals, and reds were constantly tweaked to account for the myriad of t-shirt material changes. Now that i have a good few weeks to kinda look back on the process of the design. I have a much more of an appreciation for the planning that goes into design as a whole. I knew BRK. wasn't going to be easy considering what i wanted to accomplish, but finishing the process and being able to touch the grain of the ink on the cotton is a such rewarding feeling. Is it to say that the first t-shirts didn't have the effort put forth into them? Nah, the first t-shirt was crazy to me because i did it while watching the entire season of FLCL, the whole process was so smooth and i got to the point, to when i finished it there was nothing i wanted to change which is surely is a rarity with me nowadays.

_Now that the t-shirt is out now i mean whats next? I mean i love making t-shirts and everything and look forward to the next t-shirt release but at the moment I'd love to make something outside that realm. People have made suggestions towards jackets, crews and hats for future releases, but at the moment I'm just designing so i can have a good amount of designs to choose from. From there i would choose from the bunch and begi the grueling process of peer editing and drafting for the next product. That is kind of the freedom with BRK. I enjoy though, I'm not tied down by need to have seasons or anything. I make things as i please at small quantities. Which in-turn provides me with ample amount of time to finely craft every thing i release. I do want to thank everyone that has supported my journey though its been real amazing I cant even tell you about all the rad people that i have met and understand where im coming from with BRK.
So shout out to everyone who bought BRKtec
shout out to everyone who bought not just another logo tee
and special shout out to those diehards who bought all the releases, its all love!
"Clothing is an expression of one's creativity and soul.
